I have developed an obsession with the dandelion. While ubiquitous, easily overlooked, and a nuisance to those desiring neatness in their yards, the dandelion is truly fascinating. Each configuration of its life cycle contains a spectacular structural beauty -- particularly for someone with a macro lens. :)

This is number one in a series of photographic odes to the dandy.

Yes, they are quite beautiful in their many iterations, aren't they? This shot is lovely -- such beautiful tones!

blue and yellow are quite strong colors when together...a beautiful and almost relaxing vibe to this.
