I was lucky enough to capture this sky on a photo walk around our apartment complex.

The colors remind me of all Howard Johnson's I stayed at when I was a kid. My parents and grandparents would travel and meet halfway to "exchange" me so I could stay with my grandparents for the summer. We always stayed at a "hojo" for the night. And I always ate grits for breakfast before returning home with my grandparents the next morning.

OMG...Hojos!!! That was my Grandfather's favorite restaurant. Swear to God! I loved going there when I was a kid...they had the best grilled cheese!

Oh, wow, it is like Howard Johnsons! I hadn't though of that. Such a comforting place (it's been around forever), so appropriate for that cozy evening light.

I could have swore I made a comment on this photo but I guess I didn't, anyway, a wonderful capture and it's so nice to have such a great memory to go with it
