Digital Photography: Capturing Nature’s Interiority

How many times have you uploaded your photos only to be disappointed and frustrated with your results? That flower was so stunning, so captivating, when you stood in its presence. How could its beauty not be adequately contained in the pixels before you on the screen?

Capturing nature’s inherent beauty – maybe even its message to us – is not a trivial task. The way we perceive, using our eyes and mind, even our souls, is far more sophisticated a process than our digital cameras can manage.

But there are things you can do to improve your chances of capturing the sublime images we see in nature.

This workshop will give you an artistic approach to digital photography that will allow you to connect and capture elements of nature with images that better represent what you saw and felt when you captured them. You will learn tips and techniques for seeing, composing and editing your shots. Most of all, you will be encouraged to embrace the process of connecting with nature in a new way.
